01 — What we do

Six things we do, and nothing we don't.

One crew, one number — from a full install to the head that snapped off this morning.

01

New system installation

Designed zone by zone for your yard, not off a template. We map sun, slope and soil so every corner gets even water and your driveway stays dry. Most homes finish in a day.

02

Repairs

Broken heads, hidden leaks, dead zones, dead controllers. We find the actual cause, price it before we dig, and usually fix it on the first visit.

03

Maintenance plans

Spring startup, a mid-season check, and the fall blowout — scheduled automatically, so you never have to remember it.

04

Backflow repairs

We rebuild or replace failed and frozen backflow assemblies. We handle the repair; the annual certification test is signed off by a state-certified tester.

05

Spring startup

Slow pressurization, every zone walked, every head adjusted, and your controller programmed for the season ahead.

06

Winterization

Every line blown out before the first freeze, so nothing cracks underground where you can't see it until April.

02 — Common symptoms

Most lawn problems are system problems.

Before you reseed, water longer, or blame the grass — here's what's usually actually happening underground, and what it takes to fix.

What you see
What it usually is
What we do
One dry patch that never greens up
A clogged or tilted head starving part of a zone
Clear or replace the head, re-aim the arc, re-check coverage across the whole zone
Water bill climbed, nothing looks different
A cracked lateral line leaking underground
Pressure-test each zone, locate the break, replace the section
A zone that won't come on at all
Usually a solenoid or wiring fault at the valve — not the controller
Trace the circuit, test the valve, replace the failed part
Heads that mist instead of spray
Pressure too high for the nozzle, so water atomises and blows away
Fit pressure-regulating bodies or the correct nozzles for that zone
Puddles by the valve box after shutdown
A valve not seating, so the zone never fully closes
Rebuild or replace the valve
Lines split open in spring
Water left sitting in the lines through a freeze
Replace the damaged run — and blow the system out this fall
03 — How it works

Four steps. No guesswork.

You should never have to chase a contractor for an update. Here's exactly what happens after you get in touch.

012 minutes

You call or send the form

Tell us what you're seeing. We ask a few questions and give you a realistic range before we ever come out.

02Free

We walk the yard

We run every zone, find the actual cause, and hand you a written price. Say no and you owe nothing.

03Usually same week

We do the work

At the price on the page. If we find something that wasn't in the quote, we stop and call you before we touch it.

04Before you pay

We run it with you

Every zone, while you're standing there, before we take payment.

04 — Our promise

You watch it work before you pay.

We run every zone we touched with you in the yard before we take payment. If something isn't doing its job, we fix it then. If we can't make it right, you don't pay for that repair.

  • Free on-site diagnosis — we find the cause before you spend anything
  • A written, fixed price before any work starts
  • Same-week scheduling across the Wilmington area
  • Licensed and insured — proof sent before we arrive, without you asking
  • 1-year warranty on parts and labour we install
  • We haul off the mess. You'd never know we were in the yard.

05 — About money

Why there's no price list on this page.

Two yards that look identical can be a small repair and a large one, and the whole difference is underground. A number quoted before we've seen it is a number we'd have to change later — and you'd be right to resent that.

  • Free on-site estimate
  • Written fixed price before we start
  • We call before any change
06 — Straight answers

Three things we won't say to get the job.

Every contractor tells you what you want to hear. Here's where we don't.

We won't quote your repair over the phone

We'll give you a realistic range once we know what you're seeing. A real number needs eyes on the yard, and anyone who gives you one without looking is guessing.

We don't do backflow certification testing

We repair and replace backflow assemblies, including ones that just failed their test. The annual certification has to be signed off by a state-certified tester, and we're not one.

We won't promise someone else's install will last forever

If the pipe is dry-rotted or it was wrong from day one, we'll say so and price the honest fix instead of selling you a patch that fails next season.

07 — Where we work

09 — Straight answers

The questions everyone asks before they call.

If yours isn't here, text 910.530.4560 and a person will answer it.

How fast can you get here?
Most Wilmington-area jobs are scheduled within the same week. If a line is actively running or a zone is flooding, call — we work emergencies into the day.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Every day. Most of our repair work is on someone else's install. We'll figure out how it was zoned and get it behaving.
Is the estimate really free, or is there a trip charge?
Really free. We walk the yard, run the zones, and hand you a written price. Say no and you owe nothing, and we won't chase you.
Can you do my annual backflow certification test?
No — that has to be signed off by a state-certified tester, and we're not one. What we do is the repair side: if your assembly is leaking, froze over the winter, or just failed its test, we rebuild or replace it so it can pass.
Do I actually need winterization in Wilmington?
Yes. The Cape Fear region gets hard freezes most winters, and a blowout costs a fraction of a split main line and a torn-up spring lawn.
Are you licensed and insured?
Both. We send proof before we show up, without you having to ask twice.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes — HOAs, small commercial lots and light industrial across the Cape Fear region, on the same terms.
